Jennifer S. Craven
Jennifer grew up in Crete, Nebraska, and graduated from Crete High School in 2007. She received her Bachelor’s degree in music education from Doane College (now Doane University) in 2011 and taught music for ten years before deciding to pursue a career in law. Jennifer attended the University of Nebraska College of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 2024.

While in law school, Jennifer worked at the Lancaster County Public Defender’s office, served as Vice President and President of the American Constitution Society, and published an article in the Nebraska Law Review. She also volunteered for the Tenant’s Assistance Project and the Naturalization Clinic. She is grateful for the opportunity to practice law in her hometown.
Jennifer’s husband, Chris, is a Senior Enterprise Services Engineer at Doane University. Their daughter, Tamzin, attends school in Crete. Jennifer and Chris enjoy helping with food distribution at the United Church of Christ, where Jennifer also sings in the choir. They spend free time gardening, hiking, and playing board games.
